Spring has sprung and the weather is awesome so it’s time for Line Dancing in Burnett Park!
This class was a huge success last year; in 2025, it’s back for a longer run: eleven weeks of line dance! Yay!
Burnett Park, located in Downtown Fort Worth, is a welcoming tree shaded urban space that hosts lots of activities. Check out the full calendar of events on the sponsor’s website: Downtown Fort Worth Inc.
Line Dancing Class details:
- Taught by local dance instructor, Tony New
- Free admission
- Every Thursday at 5:30p (weather permitting) for 11 weeks
- Class dates: Apr 17, 2025 through Jun 26, 2025
- Class will last approximately 1 hour
- Bring water with you if you like
- Wear comfortable shoes & clothing
- Dances taught will be range from “Absolute Beginner” through “Low Improver”
- Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned dancer, these classes are open to everyone. Parents are welcome to bring their young folks with them if they are old enough to have acquired the group social skills required to engage in a class lasing an hour.

- Class will be taught in the northwest corner of the park, on the deck under the trees, near the “Man with a Briefcase” sculpture
